First of all, I am thankful for my Grandma Toots. Secondly, I'm thankful for a little church in Oak Park and for a lady named Lois, who was so faithful picking up kids for Sunday school and church. I believe my foundation in Christ was started there. Through my years of the pain of losing my mom at the age of five and then my dad at the age of fifteen, and getting involved with drugs, it is only by the grace of God that I am not in prison, strung out on drugs, or dead.
The Lord came to me at my weakest point, saved me, and gave me hope. He’s blessed me with a great wife and four children with which I am proud to be their father. I now have a beautiful daughter-in-law, twin grandsons, and a precious little granddaughter.

I have always loved music, and have believed from a very young age that I would do something in music. I love to write songs and I know my gift is truly from God. To be involved with my brother Jim, and friends Bruce and Galen has been a very exciting journey! They all have a true “servants” heart and it’s an honor to be a small part with them. Our goals are to share Gods’ gift to who ever will listen while God receives all the glory! Everything I do I put God first and have an open mind in what He wants me to do next.

I’m thankful for my wife Julie and our three kids - Chelsea, Tyler and Brandon. I'm also thankful for my Grandma Toots, my brother Tim, who writes our songs and my sister Kim who took care of me after our dad died. My mom died when I was about 8 months old and my dad died when I was 12. At that time Kim, who was 18 or 19, was awarded guardianship over me. She took me to church where I met a man who had a funny accent talking about Jesus. I talked with him after the service and he prayed with me. He was known to all of us as Brother Willie. Twenty-Seven years later and with a move to a small town in Iowa called “Floyd”, Brother Willie and I were "reunited" and going to the same church. Willie praying with me at 12 years old is one of my best memories. I’m glad I had the blessing of getting to know this man before he died. I prayed with him, sang with him and learned of salvation and how to have a relationship with Jesus. Jesus is the cornerstone for my family. Knowing Jesus always comes first. I am so thankful for our pastors Paul & Dixie and what the Lord is doing at the Gospel Lighthouse Church and Academy in Floyd Iowa. Thanks, Jimmy Bobo

First and foremost, I would like to thank Jesus for allowing me to be a witness for Him and to glorify Him through song. For without His saving grace, there is no telling where I would be today. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 39. I struggled with the bondages of this world, namely alcohol, for many years until one day in a small church in Floyd, Iowa I went forward, knelt down at an altar and cried out to Jesus. In an instant, He revealed Himself to me and my desire for alcohol was gone.

My life started to change immediately. I saw things differently. I realize now that asking Jesus into my heart was the most important decision I have ever made or will ever make in my life. I think of my favorite verse, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" II Corinthians 5:17, as He continues to change me from the inside out. Thank you, Jesus!

I want to thank my wife, Deb, for her patience through this project. She has always been there for me and supported me in all I do. Deb, you are the love of my life. Thank God for giving me the perfect partner. Zach and Ty, I love you both. Continue to pray for the Lord’s will in your lives. He will not disappoint you. I also want to thank Mom and Dad for loving me unconditionally. I miss you both dearly and look forward to being reunited with you again someday. My prayer is that I can continue to serve the Lord in whatever capacity he chooses, that all I do is pleasing to Him and would glorify Him. Praise the Lord!

Being brought up in a Christian family one would think that your walk with Christ would be a sure thing. My story reflects the prodigal son who walks the way of the world then realizes the error of his ways and returns home. I always walked the straight and narrow through high school abiding by the ideals of the church and my Christian parents.

College however was a different story. After just two weeks of peer pressure and college dorm life I was deep into the worldly lifestyles that would lead me to 14 years of bondage to alcohol and drugs. Oh how different it would have been if I would have had someone to be accountable to during those first few weeks of college.

It was only by the grace of God that I was able to pray the prayer of salvation on March 20th 1992, and become a saved Christian bound for heaven. Praise the Lord for my wife Linda who stayed by me through all the hard times and my wonderful kids Meghan, Justin, Hannah Jean, and Josiah “the little guy” who are the living proof that no matter how low we let ourselves go, the Lord Jesus Christ will be there to pick us up if we cry out to him and truly repent of our sins. Thank you Jesus for being there for me.
